GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- is the latest game in the Guilty Gear series featuring improved graphics and reworked designs of existing characters, and the introduction of brand new characters.

It includes a variety of gameplay modes and a cinematic Story Mode that exceeds the length of a standard feature film.

Rollout of the Free Major Update ‘Ver. 2.00’!

We are delighted to announce the launch of the free ‘Ver. 2.00’ update. This version brings major improvements to the gaming experience, including:

New abilities: New special moves have been added for certain characters.

New ‘Counter Blitz’ system: A brand-new mechanic designed to turn the tide of battle.

Overall rebalancing: Adjustments to combat parameters for more intense competition.

In addition, a new progression system called “Blazing Pass”, which allows you to unlock rewards as you play, will be implemented in May 2026.

Featuring the series’ iconic 2.5D visuals praised since the Guilty Gear Xrd series, GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- brings many of its charismatic characters in renewed styles and several new characters join the cast.

The gameplay has been reworked from previous games: it keeps the easy-to-understand system while remaining very deep when wanting to master it.

The game’s soundtrack features a powerful soundtrack with numerous rock songs composed by Daisuke Ishiwatari, promising a unique experience and a story mode longer than a movie, designed not only for Guilty Gear fans, but also anime fans.
