Online Game Community Rules
Introduction:
All users who connect to any Arc System Works games online are required to abide by the following community rules. By playing an Arc System Works game, you consent to following the rules.
In any instances where community rules can be found on an individual game’s official web site, those rules take priority.
Player Conditions:
Players must be 12 years or older before starting the game. Other age restrictions may apply depending on your region of residence. All data related to the player will be collected and managed by Arc System Works in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If a minor is to play the game, this clause must be confirmed by their parent or guardian.
The following rules must be followed while playing any game with a network connection. Please carefully adhere to all rules in order to safely enjoy the crucial communication elements of online play and form connections with others in the game community.
Prohibited Behavior:
- Any offensive, threatening, or demeaning statements concerning the race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, appearance, health condition (disabilities), or economic/social standing of others.
- Cheating (using software aside from standard gameplay or manipulating the connection with the server), hacking (attacks on the server, stealing or corrupting data, hacking with the intention of causing confusion), unauthorized access (using another individual’s ID and password to access the server without permission), using exploits (players discovering bugs, glitches, game mechanics, rates, hitboxes, or level design elements and using them in ways unintended by the game designers).
- Sharing of Personal Information, IDs, and Passwords. Nicknames and IDs used in online games do not generally qualify as personal information, as they cannot be linked to a specific individual even when made public. However, there is the potential that nicknames or IDs could be linked to a specific individual when paired with other information. In such instances, they may qualify as personal information. If your ID and password are shared with another person or used on another service, there is the possibility that the game server will believe another individual accessing your account to be you, and allow them access to a variety of features. Please refrain from sharing your ID and password with others or using them on other services. If you mistakenly share your ID/password for an online game with another person, immediately inform the company that manages the ID in use. It may be possible to prevent unauthorized use by taking security measures before another person can gain access. Arc System Works is not responsible for any monetary loss or damage caused by unauthorized access to an account.
- User and Avatar Management. Players may not use names that include reference to offensive, deceptive, or excessively sexual material. Content or assets (including designs, graphics, and text) implemented in Arc System Works games (such as avatars or custom skins) are subject to potential removal if deemed inappropriate by staff. If you encounter any of these prohibited behaviors, you can submit a report from the support page on the Arc System Works official web site. Arc System Works staff will confirm all reports and respond accordingly. Depending on the severity and frequency of the infringement, the offending player’s account may be subject to a temporary or permanent ban. Record will be taken of all such actions taken by Arc System Works staff.
